The main duties of the experts committee are: to give macro or specific guidance to the establishment and development planning of the Geoscientific Data & Discovery Publishing Center (GDD), to be responsible for and supervise the implementation of the principles and guidelines of the GDD, national laws, publishing management regulations and confidentiality regulations; Significant report content and topic selection plan; timely understand and provide the latest research trends of the department, recommend the research results of major topics and data with novel content and high academic quality to the GDD; review standards based on academic papers (views, arguments, logic, structure), timely completion of the review of the manuscripts submitted by the GDD; propose ideas for the selection of data publishing, editorial comments on the reviewed data papers; assist the GDD to draft and review a topic; make constructive comments at any time to enhance the readability of geological science data albums, enhance the visibility of geological science data publications; participate in professional academic activities, exchange data publishing experience, participate in data review and evaluation activities, activate academic atmosphere, and improve the academic quality of the GDD.
